What are adult babies?
Adult babies are adults who have the desire to wear adult diapers and want to be babies. The medical name for them are infantilists and the medical name for their condition is infantilism.
It is hard to generalize adult babies because has a different infantilism characteristic. Aside from wearing adult diapers, there are others who also wear baby clothes, drink milk from bottles, talk like babies, act like babies and be treated like babies.
There is a term called ABDL which means adult babies diaper lovers that serve as the general term for all adults who show different infantilism characteristics. Some are only AB, meaning adult babies which means they want to be babies and they get satisfaction in acting like babies. Some are DL which means they don’t like acting like babies, they just have the desire to wear adult diapers.
Their condition is also oftentimes called adult baby syndrome. The cause of this condition has not yet been known. Every adult baby exhibits different trait and psychiatrists still can’t seem to pinpoint the cause or the treatment.
There is a dearth of information about adult babies but there are tens of thousands of adult babies that participate in forums and online clubs. They exchange stories, meet up or just support each other. They admit to wearing adult diapers but nobody knows it.
